About Us

Alex Saldarriaga is the founder and CEO of Home Health Advocates, Inc. (HHA). Founding HHA in 2003, Mr. Saldarriaga instilled a mission and philosophy of Care Without Compromise, which drives HHA's standard of excellence and belief that seniors can and should live fulfilling and independent lives in their own homes while remaining connected to their communities. Mr. Saldarriaga has over 21 years of nursing practice, concentrating the last ten years in home care nursing and geriatric case management. He is active in the health care, LGBT, and business and Latino communities and has served on the Board of Directors of the Tsunami Swim Team, which represents the LGBT community in international events. Mr. Saldarriaga is a graduate of the UCLA Anderson School of Business Management Development for Entrepreneurs Academy. He is a current board member of the San Francisco Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is an active volunteer mentor, trainer and speaker for new and emerging small business owners at the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center. He is the 2007 Small Business Administration Business Person of the Year, and the recipient of the 2005 Emerging Entrepreneurship Award from Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center.
